A recipe that was originated when my grandfather came to America from Mexico. My family’s salsa started out as a central part of the everyday meal. As time went on, my mother Maria seemed to take on the joy of making her own salsa to the delight of our entire family. The Christmas Eve tradition of tamales was when there was enough made for the entire family to eat and take home. Mark Olson(Me), the oldest enjoyed making it. I decided to change the recipe so all people could enjoy the bright freshness along with a distinct “Back Bite”. Used as a dip, food enhancer or marinade to enjoy the different levels of flavor. Families change, Salsa’s change, but we all persevere.
